Next Saturday, October 21st, FT will play with Moritz Von Oswald at the Kölner Philharmonie.

Francesco Tristano goes on a musical journey through several centuries with dub techno pioneer Moritz von Oswald. Whether intimate or groovy: The musicians, who have been working together for more than ten years, are presenting an exclusive show for the Kölner Philharmonie.

Next Saturday, February 11th at La Bam in Metz, France, Francesco Tristano will be with p:anorig in a solo version. The line up is completed by Plaid and Max Cooper.

From Bach to the techno of Detroit, Francesco Tristano is a complete artist. Composer and pianist, he constantly explores and pushes the boundaries between classical and electronic music.

p: anorig is his new concept of live mixing installation, light, sound, and design; all immersed in a minimalistic universe. Surrounded by several synths, it twists faster than the shadow and offers an impressive performance.

On Dec 1 at 23.35, watch Francesco’s premiere concert of Goldberg City Variations recorded at the Bach Festival in Köthen on German channel MDR

The recording of Francesco Tristano is particularly ambitious. He developed a visualization for the sound of the Goldberg Variations, he understood Bach’s music as an architectural utopia. The idea for this project goes back to the composer and architect lannis Xenakis and his idea of a “cosmic city”.
