On April 13th, Francesco Tristano will be at Thüringer Bachwochen presenting Goldberg City Variations. Where he draws a new vest of his famous Goldberg Variations, a tribute to the composer and architect Iannis Xenakis and his idea of the Cosmic City. Based on this, Tristano has developed a visual design concept, which is generated in real time by his own game. Then, on a large projection surface, a city is created, live-controlled by the music and built from the musical structure of Bach’s work.
